My colleague and friend Francois Muscat has just released a great White Paper entitled, “2010: The New Ways to be Found Online”, and it addresses using word of mouth to generate business leads.
It is a fascinating read, and brings to the forefront the value of “content marketing”, and how it addresses the challenges of push and pull marketing.
The type of content produced is very important. He states, “The new way to be found online in 2010 is to create, publish and syndicate content that is valuable, interesting and entertaining on many of the social media sites that are available today”.
Great content then needs to be syndicated so that it may end up being found, and as a result create conversation.
One of the greatest benefits of content syndication is the elevating of your business-to-business credibility.
